Bronson In Quarantine

Well I went to see Bronson today, a nice 640 km round trip.

Went to pet barn before hand and got him some Pro Plan Salmon for his dinners, some toys to relieve the boredom and a nice new blue collar.

Arrived at 11.30 and went through the process of signing in ect, then I walked to the kennel block, his carer Sarah let him out in the hallway and he was off and running, apparently he loves running the corridors and does it frequently, I called him and he finally realised that someone else was there, and boy was he excited.

He jumped and jumped and jumped and licked and licked and licked, I got him back in his run after many cuddles and him checking that I was really there to see him, then I gave him his toys and he took the squeaky seahorse and chomped it all over.

We played fetch with the rope toy and had a practice showing for liver treats, then he realised that he was hot, had a drink and we sat in the shady area of his dog run, I had to leave after 30 mins as they feed at 12.00.

I went back at 1.00 for 90 mins and he was just as happy to see me as he was the first time, we played again, then relaxed until I left.

He is still a puppy at heart but he looks a lot older than I saw him last, still has the WOW factor though.

Too keep Doreen happy I text her many pictures while I was there, sure she was teary, and took a lot of pics to share with the group.

New RR American Champion Nevars Man on a Mission

Congratulations go to Amy and our new Champion Nevars Man on a Mission – our very own GP grandson, BOND.

Bond easily achieved his US title with 4 x 4 point Majors.

He will be arriving on Aussie soil early January 2010.  We can’t wait.

BRONSON IS BACK

Bronson touched down in Sydney, NSW at 8.22am Friday 6th November.

He is fine and doing well after his long flight, he left Tuesday early am US time.

He will be in quarantine for 30 days and Nikki is picking him up 7th December to take him back home with her.  He has his first shows booked already.  So he will appear at selected venues with his daughter ‘Cat’ and his grand kids.  Grandson ‘Bond’ will arrive here in 2 months time and go through the same process.  So our little show team is growing

Our thanks go to Begga in Switzerland, and Amy in the USA for their loving care of Bronson.  I know they miss him.  Best of luck to the offspring he has left on his jorneys.

Reba Runner Up In Group

We just had news in from Northern NSW.

Reba’s owner Julie showed her this weekend under Ian Rassmussen.
She has her Aust Ch title but is not shown very often now.

She did well:

BOB, Runner Up In Group & Australian Bred in Group.

She is a Bronson daughter from Wiener Kindl Izba, his first litter in 2004.

Ravenred Cats Catita at World Show 2009

“Fire Dreams has visited the World Dog Show, this year held in the city of Bratislava in Slovakia. After a long journey of 2000 miles, and after two days’ journey arrived at our destination.

On Friday the 09 are held Pinscher National Show of Bratislava at the racetrack.  There was at stake CAC of the FCI.

Results: Ravenred Catita … … … … Excellent 1st – CAC (Open Class).  Comment of the judge. “You have a great woman”, Ch. Angelsun Excalibur ……..  Excellent 3rd – (Champion class).

On Saturday the 10th World Championships (WDS).

Ravenred Cats Catita ………..  Excellent 2nd – Reserve CAC …. (Open Class).  Ch. Angelsun Excalibur ……. Excellent 3rd …. (Champion Class)

 The great triumphantly in this WDS is our Rita, with 15 months and just turned 10 days has been released in open class in this great World Championship, and has earned a fantastic score, 1st in class and 2nd in her class in the World Championship.

We are excited, our dogs have been among the top positions in the WDS.”

Baby Puppy In Show

Congratulations to Ravenred Wakn Upin Vegas (Vegas) and handler Nikki on the first ever Baby Puppy In Show here in Oz.

It was Vegas’s first show at 3 months of age and she performed like a little champion.

During this first weekend showing she scored a Best baby in Show and 3  Best Baby in Class.

 

Congratulations also go to Nevars Man On A Mission, Bond, in the US who achieved a 4 point major in the US at his first show.  Bond will be seen in the ring here early in 2010.

So a great weekend for us.

Melbourne Royal 2009

Congratulations to Nikki and Aust Ch Ravenred Cat Balou (Cat) on their Runner Up Best of Breed in Melbourne Friday 25 September 2009. It’s only 12 weeks since her puppies, the Vegas litter, so we were all very proud of her.

Congratulations to Claudia  for her Best of Breed win. It was great to meet some of Bronson’s Villanova grand kids.

New Ravenred Champion

Congratulations from all the Ravenred owners to KoKo (Ravenred Cats Nikkolette) on achieving her Australian Champion title Saturday 19th September 2009.

She joins brother Cruse (AC Ravenred Cats Crusader) as the 2nd of that litter to be titled.

Ruger leaves the Vegas Kids

Sunday 10 week old Ravenred Shoot Em Up (Ruger) left the Vegas kids to start up his new life – with owner Mellissa in the ACT.

 Saturday Mellissa stocked up on new bedding, fun stuff, collar and lead; also made sure her yard was totally puppy proof.  Next day she met up with Nikki again and took posession of ‘Ruger’.  He was quite happy to leave his brother ‘Ace’ and sister ‘Vegas’.   He’s settling in very nicely.

** He will get to see Ace & Vegas often at shows and training as he only lives 15 minutes away.
