Jenny in WA has again done a calendar for us. We would like to thank Jen for the wonderful job she has done.  It was very popular last year and am sure it will be again.  You are amazing Jen

‘I have done the calendar up using Harvey Norman online because I have printed stuff with them before and been quite impressed with the results. This way  people can go online and order their own copies and I don’t have to worry about payments or how many to order etc.
They are $29.95, but are a half price gift item sale before Christmas so they will only cost people $15 until 15/12/2011.

Also people can go online and have a look and only order if they like it. I have put all the litter birthdays in as I did last year. Hope it works out OK.

Bond is from the lovely Annie – AM Ch Ravenred Annie Oakley USA, our export to Nevars Kennels, Annie is the full sister to Aus Ch Ravenred Cat Balou -Cat.

Bonds sire is Pate – Am Ch Latin Baron USA (Imp Fin), Pate is the sire of some of the top dogs in the USA, including Am CH Clefells Jaguar.

He gained his American Championship when he titled on 1/11/2009 at the tender age of 7 months, doing this in style with 4 majors and a minor, taking Best of Winners at each show. Bond was bred by our dear friend Lyn Stuby of Nevars German Pinschers in the USA. Handled in the USA by Amy Issleb of Temerity German Pinschers.

Hi Everyone,

Our GP Play date went really well yesterday, and we were very proud of all of our fur kids

David had suggested Little Mountain Common Off Leash Dog Park (Caloundra), for the venue, and it was a lovely venue
as you’ll see from the photos in the Album “Playdate Nov 2011″.

We all arrived around 10:30am on Saturday. Doreen with Tula and Koko, David with Jackson and Jarrah, and me with Millie.

Right from the start, all of them got on amazingly well together. They played well, and all happily drank from the same (Millie’s) water bowl.

They even welcomed “Winston”, a black Labrador pup who was the only other dog in the park, into the pack, and he was also allowed to drink out of that water bowl.

The dogs all did their own checking out and inspection of the park, and then they were hurtling from one end of the park to the other in a blur of red and black and tan. Then they stopped and watched Jackson try out the agility equipment – just for the fun of it, while Millie contented herself by lying in the shade under the slide.

They kept running off to play, or inspect another area, and then each of them would come back to their own pack leader, just to make sure we were still there

Millie was totally full on, as only a GP puppy can be, and kept up with the bigger kids all morning. She did get a bit too “full on” at one stage towards the end of the morning, but a sharp admonishment from her Aunty Tula, had her doing an Academy Award performance of an “injured dog” running, Yip Yipping all the way back to “Mum”. A few minutes later, and she  was happily playing with Tula and Koko again. Such an actress!

We also had two visitors turn up from Brisbane. Wilma – a lady who wished to meet and greet the breed, and her daughter who came along for the company.
They loved them, and enjoyed watching their funny antics. Koko decided to up the affectionate stakes, and put her head on Wilma’s lap for a bit of bonding/stroking time.

Finally, after about two hours, we decided to call it a day. It was a beautifully fine day, but the temperature was warming up quickly, and all around us we had panting, happy dogs.

Millie curled up on the front seat of the car, and was asleep before we even left the car park She stayed like that until we arrived home an hour or so later, and then wanted to go back to sleep on her “day bed”. She also wanted to go to bed last night quite a bit earlier than usual. Today she is her normal very
bright and happy little self again.

Doreen, David and I thought the Play date was a great success, and we’ll repeat it again early in the new year.
Hopefully Maureen and Kaiser will be able to come next time too.

Congratulations to Anne, who had not expected to be awarded Best of Breed on the day, and title her lovely Bobbie.

Best of all was that Nikki was there to wish her well.  We wish them both the best.

Anne and Bobbie show in the Sydney and surrounding areas, often travelling interstate for the large shows.  They are wonderful ambassadors for the breed.

Bobby is from the Amazing AM/CAN/CFC/AUS GR CH Nellinda Hangzou -Bronson and our RUBISS winning girl Aus CH Ravenred Cats Crystal AI.

Ruger is shown occasionally in and around Canberra by his owners Mel and Mark.

Ruger and stunning sister Vegas are from a long awaited litter here at Ravenred, they are a replica litter of the American German Pinscher Kennel “Nevar’s” J litter.

The Nevar J Litter’s dam is our own home bred American Champion Ravenred Annie Oakley a full litter sister to Ace, Ruger and Vegas’s mother Cat.  Annie is a GPCA Leading Producer with many titled offspring.

The sire of both litter’s is Am Ch Xiamaz Moltaz who was imported to America from Sweden by Lyn of Nevar’s German Pinschers.
